Equipped with cloud-enabled connectivity, the E80W Grind-by-Sync offers an electrical adjustment of the burr distance. This adjustment can still be precisely controlled manually by the barista or, when synchronized with a La Marzocco machine*, it automatically aligns with the target extraction time. The E80W Grind-by-Sync incorporates an intelligent algorithm, enhancing its ability to manage burr distance with precision, ensuring the perfect extraction every time.

*While the Sync System is currently functional with the Linea PB ABR, GB5 ABR, and KB90 ABR - you do NOT need one of these machines to use the E80W GBS' advanced grind-by-weight features.

Introducing The Sync System, an innovative platform harnessing the power of data to elevate the art of professional coffee preparation.

Through wireless synchronization via the Mahlkönig Sync and La Marzocco Pro apps, the espresso machine and grinder exchange data through cloud-enabled technology, adjusting the grind size automatically. If the shot runs too fast, indicating a coarse grind, the app signals the grinder to refine the grind adjustment. If the shot is too slow, indicating too fine of a grind, the grinder adjusts to a coarser grind setting. This real-time communication ensures consistency in taste and quality to create the perfect cup, regardless of location.

With repeatable quality covered through automation, baristas have more time to interact with customers and increase sales volume output, all while reducing coffee waste.
