The Faema E61 Legend S2 espresso machine is an iconic throwback to the original model released back in 1961. Though built maintaining the original design and materials, the E61 features numerous feature upgrades and modern touches. This timeless classic was the first machine to use a volumetric pump to give the water the ideal 9 psi pressure and keep the pressure constant during the whole extraction process, unlike lever machines. Furthermore, thanks to the pre-infusion system, the extension of the contact time between the water and the ground coffee before extraction favors optimal espresso flavor profiles.
